We haven't been to Ohio City in a while so this should be fun! No lengthy agenda with a speaker telling us about horrible things, just food and drink and conversation with like minded people. We will allow candidates and elected officials to say a few words, but no longer speeches. Hope you can make it!

They need your support now, on (or before) Tuesday, November 4, at the ballot box, AND once they are in office. The Cuyahoga County Democratic Party is sponsoring a booth at the Cuyahoga County Fair and we need volunteers! Volunteer for one 2-hour shift and get free entry to the County Fair on that day.  Have fun before or after your shift.  

All Berea Dems will be provided a Berea Democratic T-Shirt while supplies last.

Volunteers' responsibilities include:

• Registering new voters (or directing them to the online voter registration process)

• Handing out vote-by-mail request forms

• Educating visitors about the issues and candidates on the November ballot

• Promoting the county party, affiliated county caucuses and city clubs

Join Mobilize the Vote and Cuyahoga Democratic Women's Caucus for Good Trouble Lives on Rally in Cleveland.

Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.

In Cleveland we will hold a rally with a special uplifting Good Trouble activity to kick off the evening at Market Square Park across from the West Side Market. "Doors" open at 5:30

On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, we’re taking action across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.

From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, the Trump administration is launching a full-scale attack on our civil and human rights. But we know the truth: in America, the power lies with the people, and we’re rising to prove it.

This is more than a protest; it’s a moral reckoning. A continuation of the movement Lewis helped lead, and a new front in the struggle for freedom.

Please note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
