No Kings Protest - Strongsville

In 2025, millions of Americans came together in nonviolent protest to oppose the growing authoritarian actions of the Trump administration and affirm that this nation belongs to its people, not to kings. Since then, people have continued to rise up nonviolently against the Trump administration’s ongoing brutality and abuses of power, including the latest escalation in Minnesota. The No Kings Coalition is activating an immediate and ongoing nationwide digital organizing effort leading up to our next mass mobilization on March 28, including a flagship event in the Twin Cities.

Friendraiser & Fundraiser for Dr. Amy Acton

Friendraiser & Fundraiser for Dr. Amy Acton

We’re inviting you to an incredibly important event to support Dr. Amy Acton for Governor of Ohio—a candidate whose life story, values, and leadership give me real hope for our state.

Dr. Acton is brilliant, compassionate, and deeply grounded. Her motivation is shaped by her lived experience. She grew up with very little, including a time when she was homeless as a child, and she carries with her the memory of the neighbors and teachers who did not "look away", but instead who offered care, stability, and hope to her and her siblings. Leading with empathy, courage, and responsibility is her guiding principle

She excelled in her studies, attended medical school and went on to dedicate her life to improving health, opportunity, and dignity for others, becoming a highly respected physician and public health leader. She’s not wealthy, not backed by billionaires, and not seeking power for its own sake—she’s running because she believes Ohio can do better.  She’s a public servant who believes Ohio should work for ordinary people.

She is tied in the polls with the billionaire Republican candidate with deep pockets and wealthy friends who are writing enormous checks without blinking. While he flies across Ohio in a private jet, Amy is on the ground, meeting people where they are, listening to their concerns, and building real support. The momentum for Amy continues to grow. This campaign depends on people like us—neighbors, friends, and communities—coming together early to show that thoughtful, progressive leadership has broad and real support. This gathering is an opportunity to come together, learn more about Dr. Acton’s vision for Ohio, and help build the kind of grassroots support it takes to win.

We hope you’ll join us—and feel free to bring a friend who cares about smart, ethical leadership in Ohio.

Click here to donate! RSVP to the campaign directly at rsvp@actonforgovernor.com or (614) 450-2283.
